Daniele Dionisio - New to IQsensato’s Guest Papers section is a short paper entitled Access to medicines: possible boost from a new balance of power in the Asia-Pacific region contributed by myself (Member, European Parliament Working Group on Innovation, Access to Medicines and Poverty-Related Diseases).

There seems to be a new China-India-US centred balance of power in the Asia-Pacific region. This triangular power block has the potential, irrespective of the chief interests at stake, to foster health gains and scaled up access to appropriate drug treatments by the resource-limited, including Africa’s, populations.
