Sisule F. Musungu – IQsensato has been accredited to, and will be participating in the Seventh World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference which takes place the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG) from 30th November 2009 to 2 December 2009. As part of our participation, IQsensato is organising/co-organising two key side events at the main NGO Centre during the Ministerial in addition to blogging on the Ideas in Development Blog. Both events are open to all accredited delegates (government, international organisations, NGOs) to the Ministerial conference.

The first of the events will be a Briefing on “A Proposal for a WTO Agreement for the Supply of Knowledge as  a Public Good” Co-hosted by Knowledge Ecology International (KEI) and IQsensato. The second event is a special event titled “Copyright and the Digital Economy – A Policymaker’s Guide to Escaping Moral Panics and Creating a Sustainable Future”. This event features William Patry, Google’s Senior Copyright Counsel. This event takes place on Tuesday, 1 December 2009: 15h30–17h30; Room A, Conference Centre Varembe (CCV).
