Dr. Kaushiki Sanyal, Centre for Policy Research (PSR)

Dr. Sanyal, an Indian national, works as a Senior Analyst with PSR Legislative Research. PRS provides research assistance to Members of India’s Parliament on issues related to public policy. His work has ranged from analysing bills to working on issue briefs for various UN agencies, NGOs and Indian Parliamentarians. He has also briefed Members of Parliament and journalists on various matters related to public policy, and participated in the conceptualisation of research projects and conferences. Dr. Sanyal has previously worked as a website reporter for New Delhi Television, one of India’s leading news channels. His work consisted of editing news stories, writing feature articles and giving input for designing web pages. He also worked as a Senior Research Associate with Capital IQ (a subsidiary of Standard and Poor’s), a financial research company. At Capital IQ, he was part of a team that tracked financial news for clients.

Dr. Sanyal has a PhD in International Relations and a Masters degree in Political Science, both from Jawaharlal Nehru University, in New Delhi.
