Richard Oppong, Lancaster University, U.K
Mr. Oppong is a law lecturer at the University of Lancaster Law School. He is also a PhD candidate at the University of Vancouver, Canada. Mr. Oppong specialises in international economic law, international trade and development, and regional integration. He is also an expert on private international law issues as they affect international commerce in Africa. He has published articles and reviews in these areas in leading journals including, the Journal of International Economic Law, American Journal of Comparative Law, Journal of Private International Law, African Journal of International and Comparative Law and the African Human Rights Law Journal, among others. His doctoral research focuses on Managing Vertical and Horizontal Relationships in Integrated Economies: An Examination of Africa’s Economic Integration Initiative from a Public and Private International Law Perspective.
Mr. Oppong holds a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Ghana and Masters of Laws degrees from both Harvard University and the University of Cambridge.
