Internship Opportunities
IQsensato, under its Leadership in Research Programme, invites applications for internships to work in its Research Programme, Communications Programme or Administration and finance section. The objective of IQsensato internships is to provide young professionals with in-house research training and mentorship as well as project and general management training and capacity development.
General Functions
Interns will be assigned specific programme or project tasks which will be determined taking into account the intern’s qualifications and interests and the programme and project needs.
Eligibility
To be eligible to participate, an applicant should be a developing country national, 32 years or younger. In addition, the applicant should:
- Have completed his/her undergraduate studies and be enrolled or intending to enrol in a post-graduate course within one year;
- Be willing to undertake the internship for a minimum of 2 months; and
- Have authorisation (permit) to work in Geneva.
Contractual Terms
A written agreement will be concluded between the intern and IQsensato, specifying the conditions of the internship, including any remuneration. Normally, IQsensato will pay a fixed amount for the internship period to contribute to the intern’s normal expenses such as accommodation, transport, etc.
Submission of Applications
Interested persons should send their application (a cover letter and full CV, including 2 referees) to the attention of the Associate Director, Administration and Finance by e-mail to info@iqsensato.org.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you do not receive a response within three weeks of your application you should assume that your application was unsuccessful.
