Directory of Research Associates
IQsensato Research Associates are developing country specialists, researchers and experts who are associated with, but who are not employed by IQsensato. The key objectives of the Research Associates Network is to provide a resource pool and a database of specialists, researchers and experts on knowledge governance, innovation; management of Intellectual Property; trade regulation and policy; energy and climate change; and financing development among others areas. The Research Associates play a number of roles in support of the mission and objectives of IQsensato. These include:
- Participating in and providing their expertise in specific research and consultancy projects;
- Providing a pool of peer-reviewers for various IQsensato publications;
- Providing guidance and mentorship under the Leadership Development Programme;
- Disseminating and generally promoting IQsensato and its work among their networks and contacts.
On the other hand, Research Associates benefit from a number of services and opportunities provided by IQsensato. Among others, these include the opportunity to:
- Participate in IQsensato research and consultancy projects as well as other activities such as events;
- Be recommended for research work and consultancies for other organisations as individuals;
- Publish and participate in conferences and international negotiations processes;
- The opportunity for peer-review of publications even where they are not being published by IQsensato.
Qualifications and How to Join
At least a Masters degree or equivalent is required to be eligible to join. Interested candidates should send send an e-mail, with a two to three paragraph biography and CV or a link to a fuller CV and an indication of areas of expertise and interest to info@iqsensato.org.
